New Adult (NA) seems to be the newest category of fiction to hit the book industry. It has been at the heart of discussions in the publishing industry¬†over the past few years, here in the UK and across the pond in the US. But, does NA fiction fill a real gap in the market or is it just a marketing term and ploy invented by the publishing industry? This one-off blog is dedicated to discussing and analysing this question using insight from authors, readers, agents and publishers I’ve spoken to over the past few months. I intend to write three posts over the next few weeks in the hopes of getting closer to an answer.

If you have any comments or views on this question, then please feel free to post your comments on this page or on the individual posts, I’d love to know what you think.
